INDIVIDUAL & FAMILY COUNSELING

Why Therapy?

We believe mental health care should feel safe, respectful, and affirming—especially for BIPOC youth, families, and caregivers. Whether you're navigating anxiety, parenting stress, family conflict, or trauma, our licensed therapists provide one-on-one and family-based counseling that meets you where you are.

This is not just talk therapy. This is healing that’s culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and grounded in real-life tools—so you can feel better, think clearer, and move forward.

Who We Serve:

Adolescents (Ages 12–18)

Today’s teens are carrying more stress, isolation, and identity confusion than ever before. Our therapists create safe, supportive spaces where youth can:

  • Build emotional regulation skills
  • Navigate school, peer, and identity challenges
  • Process trauma, anxiety, or depression
  • Explore their voice, values, and goals

Whether they’re quiet and withdrawn or acting out, we help youth reconnect—with themselves and the people who care for them.

Parents & Caregivers

Parenting is hard—especially when you're trying to break cycles you didn’t create. We support caregivers with tools to:

  • Co-regulate and stay calm under stress
  • Set firm and loving boundaries
  • Parent children with trauma or neurodivergence
  • Heal your own inner child while raising the next generation

We also offer parent coaching and integration support for those participating in our groups or workshops.

Family Counseling

When families hurt, they often need a skilled guide to help them reconnect.
We support families working through:

  • Communication breakdowns
  • Sibling or parent-child conflict
  • Trauma, grief, or divorce transitions
  • Reunification and blended family adjustments

Whether they’re quiet and withdrawn or acting out, we help youth reconnect with themselves and the people who care for them.

Who You'll Work With

Our therapists are licensed professionals who bring both clinical experience and cultural humility to their work. Every provider is:

   • Trauma-informed

   • Culturally responsive

   • LGBTQ+ affirming

   • Compassionate and strengths-based

We pair clients with the provider that best fits their age, needs, and goals.

Why Group Work Matters

In a world that often tells us to “handle it alone,” group counseling invites us to reclaim something powerful: collective healing. Our groups offer a supportive, trauma-informed space where participants can learn, grow, and reconnect—with themselves and others.

Whether you're navigating grief, managing stress, healing from trauma, or building emotional skills, group work reminds us we are not alone.

We heal in the presence of others. We transform in the presence of truth.

What Is Group Counseling?

Group counseling combines clinical support with real-time connection. Led by licensed therapists and trained facilitators, each group focuses on a specific theme or identity—creating safety through shared experience, guided reflection, and practical tools.

Participants benefit from:

  • Psychoeducation + coping strategies
  • Peer connection + feedback
  • Supportive accountability
  • Space to practice communication, boundaries, and self-awareness
