ABOUT US

Our Mission

Empowering Wellness. Creating Access. Cultivating Resilience.
RGW Foundation exists to disrupt cycles of trauma and injustice by offering accessible, culturally responsive mental health resources to BIPOC youth, families, and communities. We do this through direct services, scholarships, educational programs, and partnerships that promote generational healing and emotional wellness.

Our Approach:

  • Holistic Wellness Programs: We offer a wide range of programs and services designed to address the diverse mental health needs of our community members. From physical fitness classes and nutrition workshops to mental health support groups, workshops and seminars on healthy living our holistic approach to wellness encompasses mind, body, and spirit.
  • Community Engagement: We believe that positive change starts at the grassroots level. Through community partnerships, outreach events, and collaborative initiatives, we actively engage with residents, organizations, and local leaders to identify needs, build connections, and empower individuals to take charge of their mental health.
  • Health Education and Prevention: Prevention and intervention is key to maintaining wellness and reducing the burden of mental health illnesses. We provide evidence-based health education materials, workshops, and resources to raise awareness about common mental health issues, promote healthy lifestyle choices, and empower individuals to make informed decisions about their mental health and wellness.
  • Stabilization/Transitional Housing: We understand that stable housing is foundational to overall well-being and success, and our program is structured to address both the immediate need for shelter and the underlying factors contributing to housing instability for individuals coming out of mental health treatment facilities.

Our Vision

A world where healing is a right—not a privilege.

At RGW Foundation, we envision a world where every individual and community is empowered to prioritize and achieve holistic wellness. We see a future where mental health is not just the absence of mental illness but a state of physical, mental, and emotional well-being, nurtured through supportive relationships, equitable access to resources, and a commitment to lifelong learning and growth. Through our collective efforts and partnerships, we aspire to create a culture of wellness that transcends borders and barriers, promoting resilience, compassion, and vitality for anyone in need.

Our Story

What We Value

What We Value

Founded by licensed mental health professionals with a passion for advocacy and equity, RGW Foundation was born from a desire to serve the underserved. We saw the gaps. We felt the barriers. So we created solutions.

RGW Foundation was established as the nonprofit extension of RGW Institute to provide deeper, community-rooted impact through outreach, scholarship funding, and programs that reach far beyond the therapy room. Our founders believe wellness belongs to everyone—and that real change begins with healing relationships, one person, one family, one community at a time.
